Czech Courses | Summer Czech Language School

You will make significant progress in your Czech! In our program you’ll be exposed to Czech language most of the time – in lessons at school, in practical sessions trying the language in real-life situations, or on events and activities planned after the classes.
Both the course and the after-class activities will introduce you to Czech culture, history and everyday life. You’ll see Czech capital Prague and historical cities of Brno and Olomouc, but you'll also visit a small town Strážnice and learn about the folklore and wine-making tradition in the past and today. We’ll teach you to cook some traditional Czech dishes and we’ll watch a Czech movie together.  
It will be a lot of fun! Apart from the classes where we emphasize relaxed and friendly atmosphere, we've also planned a lot of activities for you after the classes are finished.

After your classes, there will still be plenty to do! 

2-week programme
We’ll show you around Brno and organize a Picnic with Barbecue and a Czech Breakfast for you. In the evening we’ll introduce you to Czech culture on a Movie Night and Czech Dinner, where you can learn how to cook a traditional Czech dish. 
And we’ll introduce you to some well-known Brno pubs and bars on a Pub Crawl. There will be an opportunity to meet our other students and Brno expats on a Quiz Night and Game Night. 
Apart from Brno, you’ll also have a chance to visit Prague and Strážnice. In Prague you’ll see Prague Castle and all the main tourist attractions, while in the small town of Strážnice in wine region of South Moravia you’ll learn about traditional folk culture and taste Moravian wine.

4-week programme
In second 2 weeks, we’ll leave Czech for one day to visit Austria’s capital Vienna. The last trip will take us to the north Moravian historical city of Olomouc and to nearby Loštice, where you’ll see production place of traditional regional specialty – a mature cheese called “tvarůžky”.
